Reap of Innocence

The desire is drenched in illness. Placed there by the corrupted. Ruining my innocence, which was once so prized, has now been pried from my ownership.

I walk the path laid out before me for hungry eyes that feast with a lustful rage. Aggression, masked as passion.

Unwillingly, the child within me has died.

Sheets are no longer soft. No bed I rest upon brings me peace. The remembrance of expectations leaking from luring faces above me kills my sleep.
