Extended Project-Based Figure Modelling
Structured, self-led four hour live figure sessions are available to artists for anatomy study and reference. Oil painters, sculptors and illustrators are welcomed to book for their extended projects.
Choice of backdrop, lighting, poses, hairstyle and accessories pulling from the wide variety of vintage, antique and classical pieces on display in the dressing room are available for discussion for the artists project prior to the session. Props for specifically requested poses can be available upon pre-screened request.
If sessions are outside of the Greater Toronto Area, all travel, accommodations and per diem is required to be covered by the client.
No recording devices or tools are permitted to be used by clients within the space during the session. No touching of the model is permitted before, during or after the session, outside of a polite handshake.
A pre-booked, virtual consultation of 20 minutes in length is required prior to the start of the work and project. To discuss concept, poses, location, desired lighting, the medium being used, and any information deemed necessary for the artist-model relationship to flow smoothly for the creation of the artwork.
The duration of length that the model is needed for the project must be discussed clearly and comprehensively at the time of the consultation. Each booking will be made, set into the calendar, with each non-refundable %20 of 4 hour sessions paid up front at the time of the booking, with the remainder of each session paid in full to the model, on location at the end of each session.
If the set number of sessions, and booked days in which those sessions will take place, needs to be extended to accommodate the further length of the project, another 20 minute consultation with the model is mandatory, in order to reassess further bookings, set dates, fees and per diem (if travel is applicable).
The Structure of The Sessions
Provided are 4 hour sessions in the structure as listed below for extended poses. A minimum of one session per day is required. A maximum of two 4 hour sessions per day is permitted. A 1 hour break in between each session is required.

Studio fee: $50
Hourly rate: $200
